Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho did not hide his excitement and joy after renewing his contract with the Reds. The Portuguese will stay at Old Trafford at least until 2020, with the option for another season in the contract. `To me, it`s a real honor and pride to be a Manchester United manager, and I want to thank the owners and Mr. Woodward for their appreciation of my work and dedication, and I am very happy to trust me and believeI`m the right person for this great club.

We have set very high standards - winning three trophies in one season, but these are the standards that I expect my teams to adhere to - we strive to create the conditions for a brilliant and successful futureof Manchester United.




Thank you both to my team and the players. Without their empathy and friendship all this would be impossible. I love my players. It is a pleasure to know that we will be together in the next three seasons at least.
