4.05.2025 Andrea Stella: Piaste is one of the most psychologically stable racers that I have ever met

Stella praised Piasta for a performance in Australia. The head of McLaren noted that he remained under the impression of how Oscar Piastus spent the Grand Prix of Australia.
Piaste fought for the victory, but made a mistake at the time of the resumption of the rain and flew out of the highway, stuck in gravel for some time. As a result, having managed to return to the track, Piastus ended the race at the 9th position.
Piastus is fast, like our car, apparently. So in the first race of the season he was simply unlucky.
And a good feature of Oscar is that you do not need to do many psychological tricks, trying to convince him not to be too upset due to what happened or because of himself.
Piaste is one of the most psychologically stable racers that I have ever met. So I am sure that at the Grand Prix of China, he will regain his former shape and former mood, and very soon he will begin to achieve good results.
In Australia, Oscars deserved to participate in the struggle for victory until the very end. He demonstrated magnificent aerobatics. And by the definition of aerobatics, I mean not only the control of the machine and driving along the highway, but also the assessment of the conditions and the adoption of the necessary decisions.
Piaste began his third season in McLaren, but it already looks like one of the most experienced racer with whom I worked. So I was very impressed by Oscar’s performance at the Australian Grand Prix, he was simply unlucky, ”said Stella.
