Former star of the Phoenix Suns National Basketball Association - Connie Hawkins, died at the age of 75.The cause of death was not disclosed, but Hawkins had health problems in recent years and was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in 2007. Hawkins debuted at the NBA at age 27 and defended from 1969 to 1973the color of Phoenix by recording four appearances in the Star Game.

The basketball player, known as the Hawk, then played in Los Angeles Lakers and Atlanta, and in 1976 ceased his career.Phoenix pulled out of number 42, which Hawkins played in the team.In his first and best season in the league he recorded an average of 24.6 points, 10.4 rebounds and 4.8 assists.
