The midfielder of Atletico Madrid Koke received the first red card of his career at the loss of Sevilla with 1:0 in a match of the 9th round of the Primera Division.
So the 24-year-old player cut a good series of 281 appearances for the club without having to see the colour 'red'.
Also for the first time in a year, Koke will not be at the disposal of coach Diego Simeone as the last time he was out because of an injury.
The Spaniard has played in 58 of the last 60 meetings of the team.
The team will meet Malaga and Koke will miss the clash.
