Giovanni Trapattoni and Oleg Blokhin are among the candidates for the post of coach of the national team of Belarus, according to local media.

The former coach of the team George Kondratev left after winning just one point from the first three games of the team in Group C in the European qualifications.

54-year-old coach, whose contract was terminated by mutual consent, took over the team in December 2011, but under his leadership the team finished last in its group in World Cup qualifying for Brazil 2014.

Recently it became clear that Leonid Kuchuk is also an option for the composition of Belarus.
