One of the best goalkeepers in the history of football Edwin van der Sar has no regrets being denied. The Dutchman admitted that now is the time to indulge in his family.
"I do not regret that I decided to quit football. I need this. Located on the top and will be so nice to give up. I'm glad the fans appreciated me. Football and all that noise on the field will miss . This is part of me for 20 years now. Since the summer I can pay my family that needs me, "said the Dutchman.
As is known, the contract of 40-year-old Van der Sar ends in the summer.
