Bayern took part in the rescue of another club Munich - Munich 1860, which boasts a strong academy.
As the media reported in Germany, "lions" had received 12 million euros collected from various large commercial banks from abroad and from the country, and the Bavarians.
According to representatives of 1860 these funds were enough to save the club from bankruptcy. This year alone the club's debts have risen to 8 million.
1860 Munich is famous throughout Europe with its strong academy, which sells players of clubs from the First and Second Bundesliga. Recent better-known players are brothers Sven and Lars Bender, Savio Nsereko and Penny Mlapa.
