Stuttgart beat St. Pauli 2:1 as a guest in the derby at the bottom in the German Bundesliga. So Swabia is leveled with today's rival with 28 points, but both teams remain near the danger zone of relegation teams.
The result opened the hosts in 19 minutes, when Fin Bartels find excellent Fabian Boll, and he nearly scored for 1:0. Only five minutes later, Thomas filed Hainan excellent Zdravko Kuzmanovic, who had no problems to even the score.
After the break the hosts were the better team on the pitch. In the 88-minute meeting, however, 24,487 people in the stadium fell silent when Sven Shiplok put the ball in the net a second time and brought victory for Stuttgart.
